BSAHI Privacy Policy

Effective: 2026-08-11. What we collect, why, and how it's handled.

1. What we collect

• Beta registration: your name, email address, and chosen product, provided when you register.
• Public research data: Bitcoin network data (fees, mempool, blocks) from public sources and our own Bitcoin Core node. This is not personal data.
• Usage signals: when you use the beta products (e.g., widget fetches), basic technical data (page views, timestamps) may be collected for service operation.

2. Why we collect it

• To manage the beta's 100-user cap and your six-month free access.
• To issue and verify your beta access key.
• To operate, improve, and secure the products.
• To contact you about your beta access and product updates.

3. How we store it

• Beta registration data is stored in data/beta-users.json in the public BSAHI repository.
• Note: because the beta uses GitHub Issues for registration and the public repository for its data record, registration details (name and email) are visible in the public repository and on the public GitHub issue you create. By registering, you acknowledge this.
• The research data is published openly as part of the research platform.

4. What we don't do

• We don't sell your personal data.
• We don't use your email for marketing unrelated to the beta without your consent.
• We don't collect payment information (the beta is free, no card required).

5. Sharing

We don't share your personal data with third parties except: (a) as needed to operate the beta (e.g., GitHub for the issue-based registration), or (b) where required by law.

6. Your choices

• You may request deletion of your beta registration by emailing beta@bitcoinsahi.com.
• You may stop using the beta at any time.
